It is imperative for every human to understand the fundamentals of positive thinking. Positive thinking infuses optimism which is
essential for a good life. Everybody wants to live a prosperous life and we work day and night to make life prosperous. Money can’t improve your life, it will infuse tons of greed and envy in you and in your thoughts. Look for peace and tranquility, if you are able to accomplish such thinking pattern then you will surely improve your life.
Recognize your weakness and negative points
First step towards improvement starts with rebuilding. This rebuilding process consists of finding the negativity and weakness. Every human has two facets, negative and positive, like good and bad. It is imperative to recognize your bad traits or negativity and replace it with positivity. However, it is not simple as it sounds.
Negativity such as greed, lust, envy and pride influences our thinking and lead us to the path of negativity. It is not possible to avoid such emotions as you will find yourself in certain situations where you be influenced by any one of these emotions. However, you will surely regret in future if you take any decision under such influence. Note your weaknesses and negativities and within sometime you will have all the negative points in front of you.
Avoid negative self talk, this is an essential step to avoid negativity. Check yourself whenever you have any negative thought in your mind. Use the word stop and stop thinking. Every psychiatrist recommends a therapeutic exercise known as Rubber-band snap. In this exercise, you will have to wear a rubber-band around wrist. Whenever, you see any negativity or negative self-talk, pull the rubber-band and snap. This will be a bit painful but it is a great therapy. So, whenever and wherever you find yourself indulging in negative self-talk or with a negative conversation pull the rubber-band.
Change negativity into Positivity
Once, realization sips into your head you will understand your negative points and will definitely avoid them. Now, its time for you to accumulate positivity and learn different collection techniques. Try to stay clam and talk silently. This will allow you to live in serenity. Avoid the use of negative words which are related to pain, greed, lust, war and envy etc. Meditation and yoga are simple exercises which will allow you to live in peace and harmony.
You can move to the next step once you attain peace of mind. The next step is to became an optimist. An optimist always take the positives from every event including negative as well.He reamins positive even if he has lost his most precious asset in his or her life. For an instance, if you are working in a team and one of your team members makes a huge mistake then like every human you will waste your time blaming that team member. However, an optimist will support him and give him the confidence to work harder and not to make similar mistake in the future. An optimist rectifies mistakes and target success.
Never engage in β I can’t do this!β thoughts. Try to question yourself and change it to, βCan I do this?β, you will definitely see a change in you and you will think to do the job. Question your credibility all the time and push yourself to the limit until you reach your goal or target.
